Mining is the second oldest activity in the world after agriculture. Minerals are extracted with minerals, these are defined as any substance of natural origin, with a defined chemical composition and with consistent physical properties. Substances of natural origin are generally divided into: Metal ores, such as gold, iron, copper, lead, zinc, tin and manganese. Non-metallic minerals, such as coal, quartz, bauxite, trona, borax, asbestos, talc, phosphate rock, among others. Consider our current life without mining is virtually impossible, we depend on metals for almost everything, from toothpaste, minerals are used in food, packaging, utensils, energy, transportation, construction, agriculture, technology, telecommunications and more. As Ecuador is a country with huge mining reserves, it is logical that it exploits its resources to generate income and profits, more than one billion foreign investment is planned which generates a high impact both economic and social. Projects of this magnitude always have their pros and cons, generate employment, move the economy in sector, in the country and all those who directly or indirectly participate to achieve the extraction of minerals. As against the environmental impact is always present, although all companies have a high commitment to the preservation of the environment the damage is strong and unavoidable. The most important projects that are being developed in Ecuador are: MIRADOR, FRUTA DE NORTE, LOMA LONG, RIO BLANCO, LLUMIRAGUA, MINING CATASTRO, among others of smaller scale. The fact that the mining companies are established in Ecuador, and manage to operate requires a long and arduous process, they begin their operations empirically and little by little they advance both in the extraction and in obtaining all the facilities that the personnel needs, taking note that mining areas are always areas of difficult access and that makes everything more complex and slow, but despite all this mining in Ecuador is already a fact, progress is being made and it is expected for several years to continue exploiting mining in the country. As an Ecuadorian construction company, Campertech is already part of the mining area and we will continue to contribute in this sector and in many others forming a proud part of the country's development.
